The Rock
Silently waiting
Never moving, yet seeing all
Hard, strong, sturdy
Heavy
Enduring and ever present
The core of everything
Cold, damp, rough
Alone
The vessel of survival
The magnificent creation
Broken, crumbled, cracked
Ignored
The path beneath your feet
The protection from the weather
Solid, reliable, dependable
Overwhelming
The Rock
