Goin’ Green!
So, my wife purchased durable reusable grocery bag. She took it to the grocery store today. I commend her on her efforts to support the going green campaign. My wife was diligent in watching the attendant as she rang up the groceries, double checking the accuracy of the automated scanner so that it cannot cheat her out of her hard earned pennies. However, my wife did not think to watch the bagger as she bagged the groceries. After my wife finished paying for the groceries, she leaned over the counter to pick up her reusable bag and she noticed the bagger had placed the groceries in plastic bags. Then, the bagger put the plastic bags into the reusable bags. My wife’s mouth dropped. She just could not resist, and she just had to ask the bagger, “Why did you do that?” The bagger looked puzzled at the question and stated, ” well, I thought those bags just reinforced these bags.” My wife gave up at this point and left the store.
